Pushed out of their historical strongholds, palaces, and magical towers, those of the Magical and Martial Realms have since secluded themselves in secluded communities and villages. In the interest of preserving their traditional ways of life and continuing their oh so ancient art, these communities soon grew into small schools, eventually planting the seed that would grow into the Academies of the modern day.
The Mountbatten Academy, established just before the turn of the 20th century, is the youngest of such Academies. Situated around the fictional Cape Victoria, Nunavut, the Academy provides a haven and place of learning for many of the America's young and talented Martial Disciples. Successful in its own right, spawning many hundreds of Martial Masters, it has gained the attention of other competitors, likely soon to receive the fame it deserves.
At your own time, explore what the Academy Endowment Lands can offer, participate in Monster Culling Quests, and even uncover the long lost primordial history of the Martial Realm. Of course, we cannot forget making life long buddies within your individual houses, squads, and friend groups.

Though even in this century, there is still so much unknown in the world. Supernatural creatures walk among the people of the earth, hiding in plain sight, keeping their secrets under lock and key all the while staying integrated and up to date with all of the advances in history.
Caelbrook though - is well known among the supernaturals as a 'hub'. A natural force seemingly drawing in new and old supernaturals to join the ranks in the coastal city that rarely sleeps. In this city, humans and supernaturals live and thrive. Gangs roam the undergrounds and streets while others are attempting to just live their normal lives out without running into *trouble*. Though what happens when that 'peace' is interrupted? What happens when supernaturals begin to get *outed* to humans? An anonymous source has *all* the information and they're ready to use it as a weapon.

On the not - so - distant continent known as beast yeast lay five ancient virtues, cookies of the past that, for one reason or another, fell from their pedestal and into the darkness.
The witches who had baked the cookies feared their power, understanding the grave circumstances that come with their abilities. Seeling the five away, the witches sent the beasts soul jam unto Earthbread, to find new heros who may be bestowed the immense power. It is now January 1996. New Turin's population has exploded to 4 million, all built around the old town, now a UNESCO heritage site. It is considered the city of the future, called Modern Paradise-that is, if you stay in reputable areas. The West End has one of the highest property values in the world. Bankers and bureaucrats from across the globe put money into the local economy by stationing their businesses here, high-rise buildings with trams and cable-cars to take you wherever you need around the hilly city.
There is money to be made in the East, too. The population is denser here, and the principal industry is factory work. With so many Preternaturals in the area, able to put their Preternatures to do the work of a dozen men, the common man's labor is cheap. Material processing is where the money is made, profits going through the roof. The lucky see some of that wealth. The rest... get by.

Welcome to Everlocke
Everlocke rests on the precipice of a ravine, a deep raging River of crystal blue melding to mud between its sides. On the left of Everlocke is the School for Good. Towering crystal spires of light blue and pink. Shining lights and glints of Sapphire and glass. Across the waters of the river runs the halfway bridge, connecting the two schools in a long path. On the other side lies the School for Evil. Onyx shadowy towers of stone and obsidian grasping towards the sky in desperate reach. This school has existed for longer than any one person can remember, weaving stories of those who leave it. The mysterious schoolmaster's tower at the center of the grounds overwatches those who attend like a guardian… or perhaps a warden.

Everlocke: School for Good and Evil [18+] is loosely based on the lore and story of The School For Good and Evil, though no prior knowledge of the series is needed as we are taking MANY creative liberties. All students are age 18+, usually between 18-23 depending on their enrollment timing. As of 12/4/23 we are currently at the pre-stages of year 1.
How will your character's actions shape the next generation of legends? Will you be a princess? Hero? Evil witch? Or perhaps you're fated to fail the course like many others before you, doomed to an eternity in a morgrified state as a plant or creature...

Pikebitter asylum, this server is set in the early 2000s in a mental hospital in Vermont. Pikebitter is infamous for it\'s cruel treatment of patients and sadistic staff although it seems nothing ever gets done about it. That\'s cause everyone who has any power to stop it is given a handsome amount of money to keep their mouths shut. To make matters worse Pikebitter takes contracts to perform illegal and immoral experiments on their patients, some of which are perfectly sane, or at least they were when they got here!
